Peggy Lillis Foundation for C. diff Education & Advocacy (PLF) is hosting a virtual town hall on the state of C. difficile infections (CDI). CDI is the most common healthcare associated infection (HAI) causing an estimated 500,000 infections and 29,000 deaths annually. Since 2013, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has designated CDI as an urgent threat to public health.
This town hall will feature presentations by leading experts in the field, perspectives from C. diff advocates, and a panel discussion focusing on how we can end harm caused by this preventable infection.
Our Town Hall is supported by an educational grant from Pfizer.
