In this webinar, eminent surgeon and microbiome expert Dr. John Alverdy of the University of Chicago discusses the impact of a degraded microbiome from a surgeon’s perspective. While microbiome dysbiosis is most closely associated with C. difficile infections, compromised gut immunity can make us vulnerable to a whole host of infections, particularly when we’re having surgery.
