On October 29, 2010, more than 250 guests attended the first-annual Celebrating Peggy’s Life dinner at Aviator Sports & Events in

Brooklyn, New York. The evening featured speeches from the foundation’s co-founders, Christian John Lillis and Liam James Lillis; remembrances of Peggy from her oldest friend, Donna Rea, and her brother, Thomas Daly; a video tribute to Peggy; and an educational talk by Dr. Denice Hilty of Transformational Healthcare.

In addition, theme-baskets based on things Peggy loved were raffled off, and a 50/50 was held, helping to raise $40,000 to fight C. diff.
