Keynote: Learning from Patient Stories
On April 21, 2010 Peggy Lillis, a 56-year-old kindergarten teacher from Brooklyn lost her life to a community acquired clostridium di cile infection. Through her and other patients’ stories, her son Christian will show how engaging patients and families can aid clinical and administrative sta in building programs to combat healthcare-associated infections.
